Heavenly Peaches (Jam)

3 lbs. sugar
3 lbs. peaches
4 oranges
Rind of 1 orange
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can maraschino cherries
Juice of 1 lemon

Put in large kettle until it thickens. Stir often as it burns easily. Pour into sterilized jars.
