Pickled Peaches

9 pounds peaches
1 quart apple cider vinegar
4 pounds sugar
1 tablespoon allspice
1 tablespoon cloves
4 sticks cinnamon -- broken

Make a syrup of spices and vinegar. Let come to a good boil, pour over the peaches which have been put in stone jars. Repeat 8 mornings.

On the ninth morning, put peaches in glass jars, pour over hot syrup and seal.
